A team built VendorPulse, a procurement decision-support system, arguing that traditional supplier dashboards relying on aggregate metrics (fulfillment %, delivery time, defect rates) hide issues behind individual orders like repeated delays or compliance problems.\n\nInstead of asking "which supplier performs well now," VendorPulse asks "what actually happened last time we bought this material from them," retrieving historical experiences from Hindsight as an organizational memory layer, combining them with current metrics for risk assessment before a human procurement manager signs off. The frontend is React + Vite on Vercel; the backend is FastAPI on Render, connected to Hindsight Cloud.
