A hackathon team built MindFix, an autonomous incident response agent whose defining feature is organizational memory: it recalls that the team fixed an identical infra bug three weeks ago, instead of returning generic textbook advice like "rotate signing keys" at 3 a.m.
Key design choices:
- Stack: Streamlit frontend, Groq for fast LLM generation, and Hindsight as a persistent memory layer.
- Contextual memories: rather than storing raw logs, each memory combines symptom + root cause + verified resolution into a single retrievable record.
- Aggressive capping: recall is limited to 2 memories to prevent anchoring on near-misses.
- Memory Inspector: a side-by-side panel running the same recall query, so you can tell whether a bad answer came from retrieval failure or model reasoning.
