OpenAI launches new Codex Cloud with configurable environments; Agents API preview adds computer use

OpenAI launched a much-improved Codex Cloud with configurable cloud environments—Thibault Sottiaux says once configured, going back to laptop dev is impossible. The Agents API, which powers all of OpenAI's cloud agents including dots, is also in preview and now supports computer use, letting developers build the same class of cloud agents.
