Anthropic Launches Public AI Study After 81,000-Person Qualitative Survey Last Year

Anthropic is launching a new public study built on Anthropic Interviewer to learn how people experience AI, what role they want it to play, and what they expect from AI companies. It follows last December's survey, in which 81,000 people shared their hopes and fears—the largest qualitative study of its kind. New this time: participants can voluntarily make their interviews public so anyone can learn from them, and responses will shape the Anthropic Institute's research agenda. The study runs Sept 29 to Oct 6 and is open to Free, Pro, and Max users of Claude and Claude Code.
