Changing one sentence in a prompt can improve results — but is it real or just noise? Small score increases can also come from the provider, the hosted endpoint, or the test sample. Khuyen Tran sets up repeat-run experiments to test whether a small prompt edit yields genuine improvement, and publishes the full source code so readers can inspect and rerun the study.
