Stripe launches MCP server in public preview, letting AI agents manage payments end-to-end

Stripe announced integration with Meta's Muse, letting businesses set up payments, create products, update prices, send invoices, analyze revenue trends, and issue refunds via AI.
Under the hood is the Stripe Model Context Protocol (MCP) server (public preview), which exposes tools for AI agents to call the Stripe API and search its docs. Recommended setup is via agent plugins: npm install -g @stripe/cli@latest then stripe agent setup, which auto-detects your agents and configures the MCP server and skills.
