Responding to DHH's musing on the future of programming languages and frameworks, bendee983 argues that highly reliable AI coding agents could eventually eliminate frameworks: developers would maintain one set of specs, with AI translating requirements directly to low-level code while humans communicate via high-level instructions. He stresses we're still far from that, and classic software engineering skills will remain valuable regardless.
