Per Ars Technica, Google appears to have confirmed a 2034 end date for ChromeOS, with the timeline surfaced in official documentation. ChromeOS features will gradually fold into Android as Google merges Chrome and Android to compete with iPadOS and desktop platforms on tablets; Chromebooks are expected to fully transition to Android by then.
