Guillermo Rauch pointed out Paul Graham's trick: inserting a U+200C zero-width non-joiner (bytes e2 80 8c) into text prevents platforms from auto-linkifying @mentions. Ian Nuttall adds that Silent Mention, a Raycast AI tool, does this automatically—or you can vibe code your own. Handy for posting mentions without triggering links or notifications.
