RISC Legend David Patterson Predicts AI Hits "Universal Intelligence" Ceiling by 2028-2030

Computer architecture pioneer David Patterson predicts that by 2028-2030 AI will reach the maximum limit of intelligence and knowledge — what he calls artificial universal intelligence (AUI).
- AUI would never answer incorrectly, performing every task and solving every problem perfectly;
- It would solve all of science and math and cure every disease;
- It would guide populations and politicians toward optimal solutions, producing a stable, optimal end state of human civilization by 2030.
The vision is strikingly utopian, contrasted with his own complaint that today's models are annoyingly error-prone.
