Midjourney cofounder David Holz says Ghost in the Shell (1995) is one of the most influential movies ever made about AI and cybernetics. For its 30th anniversary, theaters held 4K showings but none in San Francisco, so he's hosting a giant watch party on Monday, Oct 5 at the Alamo Drafthouse in the Mission — a 250+ seat theater, original Japanese audio with subtitles, RSVP required, first come first seated.
