The University of Chicago Neuroscience Institute will host the Neurotechnology Frontier Symposium on Dec 3, 2026 (9am–6pm, KCBD 1103), covering AI, brain-computer interfaces, and adaptive therapies.
Keynote speakers:
- Frank Willett (Stanford): speech brain-computer interfaces — challenges and opportunities
- Emily Graczyk (Case Western Reserve): cortical and peripheral neurostimulation for sensory restoration after spinal cord injury
- Helen Mayberg (Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai): deep brain stimulation
- John Rogers (Northwestern): flexible neural electronics
Additional talks include human-computer symbiosis through the nervous system from the Lopes Lab.
