InvenTree ships official MCP server for its open-source inventory platform
matthiasjmair · reddit · 2026-09-29
InvenTree, an MIT-licensed self-hosted open-source inventory management system with nearly 10 years of history, has released an official MCP implementation. The plugin acts as a thin layer over InvenTree's REST API, preserving existing permission boundaries and security checks with safe defaults, giving AI agents more efficient access than the web UI or raw REST API.
