A local-deployment veteran (SD 1.5 → SDXL → Flux on Forge/ComfyUI) reports that IP Adapter faceswapping, previously working perfectly, broke after a PC reformat—either erroring or ignoring ControlNet input entirely. Klein head swap did nothing, and a ComfyUI Klein multi-head-swap workflow produced "a terrible MS Paint job." They find it strange that faceswap—one of the oldest GenAI technologies—has no working local solution, and ask for any working approach on Forge or ComfyUI, Flux or SDXL.
