Framework announced pre-orders for the 192GB Framework Desktop opening Wednesday morning Pacific Time. The machine features AMD's new Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495, an open-ended x4 PCIe slot, a pre-installed Noctua fan, and an optional pre-built config shipping with Fedora. The large unified memory targets local LLM deployment; one commenter quipped the chance of it selling out has risen to 65%.
