Letting Codex Build Robotics Work: Simulation Was Key, But It Maxes Out Line Limits
zeeg · x · 2026-09-29
A hands-on account of having Codex autonomously build robotics engineering work: the simulation environment was key — it let Codex validate most of its own output. The author mainly fed in docs as a baseline, plus concepts from popular workshop designs (AIMeE material being most useful, though still weak). One notable observation: Codex tried to use as much of the line limit as possible, matching its tendency to over-engineer in the real world.
