gnomAD MCP server lets AI clients query genome aggregation database across v2-v4
modelcontextprotocol · reddit · 2026-09-28
The open-source gnomad-mcp project wraps the Genome Aggregation Database (gnomAD) API in an MCP server supporting versions v2.1.1, v3.1.2 and v4.1.0 under a unified schema. Via any MCP client (Claude, Cursor, etc.), users can programmatically query gene metadata, variant information, population frequencies and ClinVar data — bringing a key genomics resource directly into AI-assisted workflows.
