Developer sormagec released DefaultBrowserChanger, a free, MIT-licensed native Swift macOS menu bar app (works offline) for keeping AI agent test sessions isolated.
The problem: external links clicked from terminals or AI prompts always open in the macOS default browser, polluting your main browser's cookies and history and breaking isolation across multiple AI workspaces (enterprise seats, API dashboards, local web UIs).
Features: one-click switching between your daily browser, an AI sandbox browser (e.g., Brave/Chromium), and testing profiles; native icons in the dropdown to show the active browser; auto-confirms the macOS confirmation popup.
