New study: coding agents speed up tasks but reduce users' understanding of their own code

A new paper from NishantBalepur et al. reports a controlled online study of coding agents: while agents helped users finish tasks faster, they measurably reduced how well users understood the code they had just 'written'. The authors also propose three ways to mitigate this speed-vs-comprehension tradeoff.
