The fear was baked in a decade earlier. At the peak of EDM, the duo went analog on 2013's Random Access Memories — "Get Lucky" featured Nile Rodgers on real guitar and Pharrell singing live at Capitol Studios, barely a machine in sight. The most famous robots in music history were among the first to warn about AI.
