- anand404, who led Sarvam's RL team, is leaving after 2.5 years to start something new; the young team launched 30B and 105B models from scratch in February.
- His next bet: verification. Scientific discovery only scales with compute when proposing and checking new ideas is fast and cheap.
- Math and code already show what's possible when models generate and reliably verify ideas at scale (e.g. OpenAI's Navier-Stokes work); chemistry, materials, and biology need the same verification infrastructure.
