Musk: Starship was designed without AI, likely the last big pre-AI feat
XFreeze · x · 2026-09-28
Elon Musk said Starship represents work "at the limit of biological intelligence" and was created pre-AI, with no AI used in its design.
He called it "probably the last really big thing that's not AI" and possibly "the biggest thing ever made by pure human hands" — human engineers pushed physics, manufacturing and engineering to the edge of what biological intelligence could achieve.
On the AGI era, he joked: "The AGI will say, 'Not bad for a human.'"
