JohnHeibel open-sourced ClaudeAnimationBase (483 stars), a starter kit for animating hand-painted cartoon characters with Claude Opus 5.5. Built on lessons from his music video "I'm Upping My P(doom)", it uses p5.js + p5.brush, ships the Clawd character, 31 acted emotions, an animation guide for the model, render scripts and a studio.html debug page. Author suggests storyboarding before coding, mixing broad and specific prompts, and swapping characters/emotions or feeding custom reference images.
