Dev builds own Playdate visual simulator with Figma-to-dither workflow
eschadiol · x · 2026-09-28
Developer @eschadiol shares a self-built Playdate visual simulator and asset creator: design in Figma with flat grayscale assets and preview the dithered result in real time, plus drop gray pixels for other layers to help pixel-snap icons. It replaces the official simulator's clunky "send image to device" step with a workflow that fits his design process.
