Neuroscience PhD: the field may have little bearing on understanding AI intelligence

Stanislav Fort, who did his PhD in a neuroscience lab, publicly disagrees that neuroscience meaningfully informs AI. He argues neuroscience likely operates at a different level of abstraction than what's needed to understand intelligence, so its relevance to AI may be minimal.
