Finnish study of 2,000+ workers finds no clear link between AI use and exhaustion

An independent research publication, HUMANUMi, covers a Finnish follow-up study of over 2,000 workers: frequent workplace AI use showed no significant association with emotional exhaustion, and workers who felt better prepared to use AI generally reported less exhaustion. Social comparison was more consistently linked to exhaustion than AI use itself.
Caveat: the study measured emotional exhaustion rather than full burnout syndrome.
