Building a bot with Muse to race through thousands of 64x64 mazes at SAINTCON
tristanbob · x · 2026-09-27
SAINTCON's pre-conference challenge this year was a maze game where participants had to build a bot that could quickly and efficiently navigate thousands of 64x64 mazes on a game server.
Author tristanbob used Muse (an AI coding assistant) to compete, reporting very strong performance — the only hiccup being periodic reboots of the Muse machine. The game clone and visualization were created by @copecog.
