Report: 1 in 4 enterprise AI agents run unmonitored as runtime controls emerge

A New Relic AI observability report finds one in four AI agents run unmonitored in enterprises, a growing risk as agent deployments scale and visibility into their actual behavior erodes. Granting agents permission to act is one thing; knowing what they're doing is another. A new category of runtime controls is emerging in response — Okta, for example, launched tools giving companies more control over AI agents while they operate.
