As AI-researcher crypto promotions make another round, @tenobrus posted a widely-shared warning: it is not free money. You take at best a low five-figure fee in exchange for permanent engagement pressure from communities financially invested in you shilling their coin — and personal grudges once it crashes to zero. Accepting only fees, never transacting on-chain, or not "rugging" doesn't exempt you: the appetite for you to keep feeding attention into the financialization of your name is infinite, and there's no good exit. The "take the money and use it for good" rationale, he argues, is naïve.
