Researcher asks: a transformer with a command line — still a 'stochastic parrot'?

BlancheMinerva challenges @mmitchellai and @MelMitchell1: take a transformer pretrained on text, teach it tool tokens, command line use, CoT reasoning and multi-turn chat — no other input/output processing. Is it still a 'stochastic parrot'? If not, which lines can be deleted until it is?
