AI researcher to depressed doctor: your generation can improve health the most ever
Afinetheorem · x · 2026-09-27
AI researcher Afinetheorem recounts talking to a group of doctors about AI; one said he felt partly depressed. The researcher countered that this doctor's working life is the one where technology can improve health more than any other generation. In a prior tweet he argued "book my trip" visions for 2050 are unambitious: the real goals should be curing cancer, Alzheimer's and heart disease, personalized education, robot-built affordable housing for the working class, and time for family and community.
