WRX90E BIOS Lacks PCIe Bifurcation, Needs Custom BIOS for Multi-GPU
TheZachMueller · x · 2026-09-26
A useful lesson for multi-GPU workstation builders: unlike the DDR4-based WRX80E, the WRX90E BIOS currently offers no PCIe bifurcation support whatsoever.
To split lanes on 6 of the board's 7 slots (the x16 ones), you need to install a custom BIOS that the vendor released just for this purpose.
