Two local AIs talk to each other with no cloud: hands-on with Braid

Scobleizer tested Braid (from intersignalai) by putting it on two computers to see if local AIs could talk to each other without any cloud. Setup: Braid on both machines with Ollama running a local model on each. Pairing works via exchangeable ID cards and a long fingerprint code — nothing passes until both sides verify each other. A test message sent from a Mac Studio to a MacBook Pro arrived with a full summary attached, with no ChatGPT, Claude, or middle server involved. Braid lets your own machines share knowledge privately, only with machines you approve.
