jasonkneen open-sourced the experimental Codefolio — executable JavaScript notebooks on a canvas:
- Each page is a notebook of markdown cells interleaved with runnable JS cells; notebooks live on a freeform canvas you can drag around, with notes attached — a desk of work.
- The kernel evaluates cells top-to-bottom, persists variables between cells, supports @name cross-cell references, and renders rich outputs inline (HTML, tables, charts, even three.js scenes).
- Shift+Enter runs a cell, Cmd/Ctrl+Enter inserts one; the repo includes AGENTS.md and llms.txt, clearly designed for AI collaboration.
Useful for developers who want notes, code, results, and AI collab in one continuous document.
