KoboldCpp ships built-in Agent harness; author warns of phishing site koboldcpp.com

KoboldCpp developer concedo released an integrated Agent Harness in KoboldCpp:
- Enable via the Admin tab or --agent flag; a lightweight alternative to Opencode/Codex/Claude Code with a tiny 2k-token system prompt and 9 built-in tools
- Handles basic code creation/editing and general agent tasks; connects to any OpenAI Chat Completions-compatible backend
- Supports MCP tools via mcp., AGENTS.md, context compaction, and three tool-approval modes; recommends ≥28k ctx, 8k gen, and 12GB VRAM
- Ships a one-click .kcppt template for Qwen 3.6 35BA3B; the previous release also added video generation with MiniMax H3
The author also warns that the fake site koboldcpp.com ranks highly via blackhat SEO and tricks users into downloading malware; reports to Google and the host have gone unanswered.
