An open-source Agent Skill for generating and maintaining AGENTS.md files that guide AI coding agents through a codebase.
Key features:
- Thin root files: 30-line root guidance with precedence rules and global defaults
- Scoped files: detects subsystems like backend/, frontend/, internal/, cmd/ for targeted instructions
- Command extraction: pulls commands from Makefile, package., composer., and go.mod
- Multi-language templates: Go, PHP, TypeScript, Python and hybrid projects
- Idempotent updates: refreshes managed content while preserving existing structure
