MIT Students Bring AI and Health Data Skills to Indigenous Communities in Tulsa

MIT's PKG Center has expanded its Code.Tulsa experiential learning program, pairing engineering students with a humanist lens. Senior Daphne Wang interned at the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and interns also met the Cherokee Tribal Council — applying AI and health data work for Indigenous communities in line with data-sovereignty and public-interest tech values.
