Investor argues agents should buy answers, not web fragments, challenging Cloudflare's microtransaction model
Ronangmi · x · 2026-09-26
Investor Ronangmi says Cloudflare's pay-per-crawl microtransaction approach for agents has a core flaw: it assumes web information is the end output, when agents actually want answers and content — "I want my agent to buy the answer, not fragmented pieces that may inform the answer."
He argues LCR, a real-time search layer for agents, has meaningful advantages over Cloudflare's model and could become bigger than the data business itself.
