Anthropic publishes Claude plugin docs: skills, MCP Apps, and directory listing guide

Alongside the Claude directory launch, Anthropic published official docs on building plugins — the unified way to bring products into Claude. Users add a plugin once and use it on claude.ai, desktop/mobile, Cowork, and Claude Code. A complete plugin can include an MCP connector, skills for workflows, an MCP App for interactive UI, and commands/agents. Plugins are submitted to claude.ai/directory for Anthropic review, available to paid users, with no partner program required.
