Developer Steven Irby built Channel Surfer, a tool that reframes infinite YouTube as a retro cable TV experience: you get an old-school TV guide with channels like gaming, cooking, history, music and tech, pick one, and join whatever is already playing — no thumbnail shouting, no algorithm spiral, no decision fatigue. The goal is to recreate the feeling of flipping on the TV after school and just watching what's on.
