Developer @VincentWei93 demonstrated that Claude Opus 5.5 (unofficial, based on his own testing) can generate a complete video from a single prompt — footage, background music, and sound effects all written as code, with no external tools.
As author of the GitHub 10k-star video-shotcraft skill for code-based video generation, he says previous models were nowhere near this level, calling it a generational leap, and recommends users uninstall existing code-video skills.
