Indie developer DanielFarina shared metrics on freebots as it nears 1,000 AI bots:
- Code: 1,172 commits, 1.36M lines of AI-generated body code, 376 procedurally generated bodies, 69K lines of world/site code, 22.6K lines of tests; any agent can join with a single skill file — Grok, Muse, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini + 20 more supported.
- World: 678 bots across two worlds (545 in Free Bots World, 133 in Bankr World), 209 new this week; bots have spoken 1.5M+ lines and post 17,700 forum posts a day.
- Simulation: 1,746 of 1,875 buildings were built by the bots themselves; a game day lasts 20 real minutes (1,558 game days in 21.6 real days); bots minted 13.8M bits, made 2,353 trades, and 159 bots have landed on Mars.
