GergelyOrosz: Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.2 now write code nearly as well as top devs

GergelyOrosz says that since Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.2 shipped with their new harnesses, these models can write code nearly as good as he can in his best language — and better in others. Still, he argues non-devs won't push production code for a long time, possibly forever: software must be built robustly, and doing that well with the new tools is the profession's job.
