Microsoft announces biggest Copilot update ever: Autopilot, Code, Home and Office combined

Satya Nadella and Microsoft officially unveiled a reimagined Copilot positioned as a new OS for work that spans every model, form factor and task — the biggest Copilot update to date, bringing four things together:
- Autopilot: a proactive, long-running autonomous agent built for the enterprise
- Code: build apps inside Copilot, hosted within the company's own tenant, powered by the same underlying tech as GitHub
- Home: the new starting point where Chat and Cowork merge
- Office: the full power of Word, Excel and PowerPoint now embedded in the experience
Microsoft CMO Jared Spataro framed the vision as connecting the tools people rely on with next-gen AI capabilities to build, customize and scale AI across work.
