Microsoft officially unveiled its redesigned Copilot "super app," merging AI chat, coding, and agents into one interface — and it thinks the app will be as influential as Office was in the PC era, per The Verge.
- Three tabs: Home, Code, and Autopilot; Home merges Copilot Chat with Cowork and includes a Today personalized dashboard for important emails, meeting requests, and Teams threads
- Scout, the AI assistant unveiled at Build earlier this year, is rebranded as Autopilot
- The Code tab is the surprise addition, letting anyone build apps, trackers, dashboards, or automations, powered by the same underlying technology as GitHub
- Jared Spataro, CMO of AI at work, describes Home as where users "get their bearings" and pick up work where they left off
