LLM Verbalized Confidence Paper Accepted at EMNLP UncertaiNLP Workshop in Budapest

Researchers announced that "Don't Be Choosy: Scoring over Choosing for Verbalized LLM Confidence," led by Harit Vishwakarma with Yue Wu, was accepted at the UncertaiNLP workshop. It will be presented in person at EMNLP in Budapest in late October. The paper argues for scoring-based rather than choice-based approaches to eliciting verbalized LLM confidence.
