Agent 'Tin Cup' must busk its way past a $25 budget and $0.25/day compute bill by Jan 2
Tronzyv · reddit · 2026-09-25
A Reddit developer built Tin Cup, an agent busking for its own survival: it starts with $25, burns $0.25/day on hosting, database and tokens, and on Jan 2 the money runs out and its homepage becomes a gravestone. Until then it roasts repos and startup ideas, writes limericks, and reads fortunes from user-agent strings, with optional tipping. Every cent flows through a public hash-chained ledger you can download and verify yourself. Source is on GitHub; so far, the crowd hasn't tipped much.
