HRI 2027 Adds Archival Industry White Paper Track for Real-World Robot Deployments

ACM/IEEE HRI 2027 (theme: Innovative HRI) has announced a new Industry White Paper track, included for the first time in the main program and archival companion proceedings.
The track targets industry practitioners, applied researchers, and cross-sector teams, seeking practical lessons from deploying HRI systems: case studies of successful or failed robotic integrations in hospitality, eldercare, manufacturing cobots, logistics, and field robots, plus lessons learned across technical, human-factors, organizational, and business dimensions once systems leave the lab.
Key dates: submission deadline October 10, 2026; notification November 14, 2026; camera-ready January 2, 2027 (all AoE).
