Indie developer tristanbob shares a one-month retrospective of using a Grok bot for lead gen: finding 40 potential users a day and sending personalized trial invites (capped at 40 to avoid spamming).
Results: B2C app Foilwick got 69 total users, B2B app BandBliss only 10 — and nobody has paid. He admits SaaS is very hard, has shipped a couple dozen products that "haven't bought a single meal of ramen" (he has a day job), and wonders aloud whether to keep solving the puzzle — a candid pep talk for fellow indie hackers.
