curf: a 250KB open-source C++ browser built for AI agents to drive

Developer Jason Kneen released curf, a free, MIT-licensed lightweight browser built for AI agents. The macOS build is 250KB, written in C++/Objective-C++ on top of the system WebKit engine; a cross-platform Qt 6/WebEngine build (200MB) supports Windows, Linux and macOS.
It offers a simple API and Python scripting with a "skill" interface: agents can select page elements, annotate them, and retrieve those annotations — exposing browser state structurally to agents. Build instructions for Linux and Windows are included, with Claude and Cursor plugins already bundled. The project is early-stage and the author is soliciting stars, forks and contributions.
